About this project
The original garden featured a modest rectangular pool bordered by simple paving and surrounded by a traditional walled garden. The backdrop included an aged brick wall and a weathered greenhouse with visible glass panels and timber framing. While functional, the space felt utilitarian more practical than luxurious with limited visual cohesion between the pool, garden, and architectural elements. The overall atmosphere leaned toward rustic charm but lacked a defined design identity or dedicated leisure zone.

The redesigned concept transforms the area into a contemporary outdoor retreat defined by clean geometry, rich materials, and layered textures. The transformation redefines the space from a simple garden pool into a resort‑style sanctuary — a seamless blend of architecture, landscape, and water. The new design celebrates contrast: rustic brick meets modern steel, and natural greenery meets precision detailing. It’s a statement of how thoughtful design can elevate an ordinary setting into a luxurious experience.
The old greenhouse backdrop is replaced by a sleek brick and metal composition featuring a pergola‑style pavilion with integrated seating and shade. A sculptural wall with cascading waterfalls introduces movement and sound, adding a tranquil focal point.
