The cylindrical volumes clearly reference grain silos, yet their repetition and alignment create rhythm and monumentality. Each silo becomes a distinct module, suggesting compartmentalised functions holiday let units unified by geometry. This design embodies adaptive reuse and rural modernism celebrating heritage while redefining function. It’s about transforming the ordinary into the extraordinary, where agricultural memory meets contemporary lifestyle.
The corrugated metal cladding retains the industrial authenticity of the original silo typology, while the timber-framed portals introduce warmth and human scale. The contrast between the cool, ribbed metal and the rich wood tones elevates the rustic form into modern elegance. Tall, narrow glazing slots emphasize verticality and light penetration, turning what was once opaque storage into luminous, habitable space.
